The spitfire scenes with tom hardy are amazing, the other parts can get a little slow but overall really cool movie. Is it better to speak or to die. Those neck kisses would have melted me... This scene is so heartbreaking. It hurts every time oh my goodness. Even though I knew they were mature actors, I expected to see something defensive. in their behavior during interviews, since they are both straight guys and played a homosexual couple. But it's so amazing they do just the opposite! Emphasizing how close they got, how the experience changed them, how real everything felt during the shooting. Here you have great actors and self-assured men as well.

CALL ME BY YOUR NAME: I appreciate a good love story as much as the next guy, but I can't remember when I've been so absolutely out of my mind, shoot me now, blow my brains out, when-will-this-ever-end, mind-numbing, b-o-r-e-d shitless, instantly forgettable, piece of crap. Root canals are more interesting and a much better use of your time and money. The acting is not even worth mentioning and whoever nominated Timothee Chalamet for anything with this movie needs to get out more. Even the music was coma inducing. I took one for the team with this pretentious total waste of time. Score: 3. DON'T GO. Really, DON'T GO. Spare yourself the agony of this ecstasy. You all owe me one.

The good part about this is the comment section. i was having fun reading the comments. Logan was my favorite movie of 2017. But I'm glad James Ivory won this. That monologue at the end was fantastic. Hopefully this won't be the last time the Academy recognized comic book films because they deserve so much more attention.
